Chambre d'Hote vs. Hotel

Can anyone tell me what the difference is, tax wise, between a Chambre d'Hote with 5 beds and a hotel with 5 beds plus?

We has a 5 bed CdH's and managed with registration at the CdC but if you have over 5 beds you come into the realms of all sorts of fire/food regs and are classed as a hotel.It does seem to vary from area to area but the easiest way of finding out might be a visit to the CdC.I've no doubt the easy tax regime applied to CdH;s doesn't apply either.
