Poolguy Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 At present, to my knowledge there are no inspectors checking for compliance in domestic installations.The control will take place if there is an incident in which a person/infant is drowned or injured. At which time its too late to make your pool compliant. As I understand it, the fine would be levied by the state but you would also be vulnerable to a civil suit by the injured person and/or their relatives.
