Hereford
Sorry I cannot find the answer I need on "search", tho I accept it may be there! Would be glad of any help.If you are "early retired" on pension (say a teacher) because of illness (in the case of the person I am researching for: Parkinson's disease) do you get an E121 if you move to France or do you just get an E106 from previous work? I am talking about very early retirement at under 50.Any help, especially from anyone in the same position, gratefully received. I assume that a hsuband can be covered with an E121 too if one can be issued? Many thanksMrs H.
Tony F Dordogne
If the person is early retired on medical grounds and there is little hope of returning to work, they most certainly would be entitled to an E121.I have a variety of linked medical conditions and retired early - for the second time - 18 months ago aged 56. I asked for and received an E121 with no hassle at all.
Benjamin
The best people to ask, as always, are those nice people in Newcastle. They'll probably send you the relevant booklet also. Benjamin
