We are thinking of taking our Sky digibox from the UK and plugging it in down there. Will this work at all? Will it work without major adjustment?Why can't we get ITV, Channel 4 and Five on the system we have in France now? Surely they are FTA and should be receivable? Babnik Posted November 23, 2004 Share Posted November 23, 2004 You probably have a Dish which is pointing at Astra at 19.2 and/or Hotbird at 13(degrees east!) Sky uses Astra at 28 (degrees east i think!) So you'd need to have the dish moved...straight swap won't work. Also, you'll need a card in your sky box to get Channel 4 and Five.
