URGENT Long Term Rental near Ceret

We are two professional couples buying a business in Ceret, South France. We are urgently looking for a long-term rental for our first year to help us settle in the area - the owner of the property we were going to rent has just pulled out and decided to sell.

Both couples are professional working couples with properties being rented in the UK so understand the importance of looking after another's

property.

One couple has a little four year old boy (which we're hoping to enrol in a local school) and another little girl on the way. We also have two little

well behaved King Charles Cavaliers.

The other couple has no children but do have a little miniature Schnauzer.

Our husbands will be driving down to France in the beginning of December and then us ladies (and the little boy) will be flying down on 21st December

(tickets already booked)

Can anyone help please? We would like something from Dec 2012 - Dec 2013 and would consider anything in or near (up to 15km) outside of Ceret. Our budget is around EUR 1200/month.

I'm not sure if you heard back from the original poster, but my wife and I are also looking for a long term rental in the Ceret area from February 2014.

I thought it was probably a good time to put out some feelers.
