Hello

Glad you are making some progress - we are getting nowhere.

Have bought this years model, brand new Lunar Ariva, but when trying to immatriculate it the Prefecture say "where's the carte grise".

As this doesnt exist we contacted the DRIRE, who said the same, but then moved to "where's the certificat de conformite" from the manufacturer. But none of documents provided by Lunar are acceptable. Does anyone know what the certificate should contain and look like?

Please keep progress - if any posted.

HI everyone. Thanks to all who gave help and advice to us.We got a letter from Avondale stating that it met European standards. We then went to DRIRE at Angouleme armed with bill of sale 'log book' letter from Avondale and a copy of the chassis number. The man said he would look at all documents and then invite us to bring van for inspection.A week later we got a letter asking us to take van. They checked all lights brake, side reverse etc.We then had to put handbrake on van and try to push it back with the car!!(a discovery)It pushed it back so we failed but he said tighten the cable and come back.We did this and it passed. The documents arrived yesterday.I can only tell you how it was for us because everyone seems to be different. There was a man there when we were and he has been trying for a year.He had to go to Poitier to have the gas and electrics checked. No one set foot inside our van.Good luck.Don't give up it can be done.OH and it only cost us 48 euros(avondale didn't charge a penny) Nobby
