In GB the DVLA send a reminder with the appropriate forms for renewal well in advance. Sunday Driver Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Your French driving licence doesn't actually expire - only your category C entitlement.The application to renew a category forms part of the medical certificate issued by the examining doctor.
