Newly build against existing property

Hi All of you , I have been living in the dordogne for over 5 years now and fortunaltly my french is like my english ( though being of dutch nationality)and just joined the Forum site. I am living in  Terrasson dep.(24) what is onthe border of the correze dep.(19) and the lot dep (46) ,it is very accessible by motorway exits, and airport ,direct accessible by by train.

If you need info over bying ground  to construct the home of your dreams and the pitfals ,for wat to look out for and what not to do, or bying existing homes whitout any major renovations, local, workmanship, against  diy, regulations, in short any thing ,please do not hesitate to post it thanks
