English Chef looking for work

I am a english chef (20 plus years experiance in restaurants and industrial kitchens) looking to move to france in a year or so and would like to know the answer to a few questions.
1.How do the french take to english chefs.

2. Do employers stick to the 35 hour week.

3. Is experiance more important than qualifications.

4. Are there any people out there that have done it.
