Have we been dreaming?

We have recently applyed for our permis de construire, for our renovation project.
Do we have to place a notice on the buildings, detailing our application?

We think we are going mad - We were sure we did have to, but know we cant seem to find out anywhere... Is it an old rule?

Our architect won't return our calls at the moment, and the mairie is closed or we would ask them - Does anyone know the procedure?

Thanks in advance!

Hi - someone else had the same problem earlier this month and received lots of helpful advice in this section of the forum. Just look for 'Displaying planning permission' posted by Sue56 on 3rd July and hopefully it should tell you all you need to know.

Good luck

Hello.

Congratulations on getting your planning permission!

You have to display the permission on your land / building to renovate as soon as it is granted and leave it there until the work is finished. You have to use a rectangular panel of at least .80m and it must be visible from the public road.

Hope this helps!

Stephen.
