Matelot Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Hi,I plan on fitting some new windows in our cottage later this month. They will be ‘Bois Exotique’ or hardwood. Can anyone recommend a good quality wood stain/varnish product to seal and preserve the wood? I don’t mind if it is French or English as long as “it does exactly what it says on the tin!” Any info would be gratefully received. idun Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 I would still recommend Zweihorn Holzlasur, which I bought in France.
