Can you do something like that for mail too?I have two e-mail accounts and the default one seems to be the one I don't really use much now (but don't want to get rid of).If, for instance, I want to write to a company using their contact us facility, my computer automatically sends the email from the wrong email address. not a big problem but a bit of a nuisance.

do you know - I read the whole thread and every time I read it as woodpeckers!sorry - off topic I know.ps. we have found dentists to be very reasonable here in France. Last year I was charged just 30something euros for the extraction of a wisdom tooth - plenty of anaesthetic involved too!

Just had a thought.If a notice said "ferme jusqu'a neuf heures" then you'd expect it to be open AT 9 o'clock.So, "ferme jusqu'au 9 octobre" should mean that it will open on 9th.I'd still phone to make sure though!

Am hiding this thread from Mr. Bubbles.He is due for a coloscopie this year and is trying not to think about it just yet.The last one he had was here in France five years ago. He was out of my sight for about 18 minutes and during that time was rendered unconscious, had the procedure completed and regained consciousness completely. He wasn't even dopey - well no worse than usual. Magic.

Not childish at all!We live in 66 and and we too are a long way down and right near the Spanish border.I love to spot my fellow PO drivers.They are nearly all driving virtually incognito these days with just the tiny 66 badge next to the number plate.Shame.
