[Value for Scrap of a Vauxhall Astra]

I have a

right hand drive 1994 Vauxhall Astra 1.7d engine, with a damaged

piston. The garage has said that the engine needs to be replaced, which

wil cost over 1000€. As I dont think the car is worth this, I

have decided to scrap it. Someone is interested in buying the car. My

question is what's the cars value for scrap in France. The CT on the

car expires on the 29.10.2009.
