I believe works on the Angouleme to Bordeaux line are due to start soonish (although locals here say that's been said for a .longtime), certainly to get it up and running by 2013 it would need to start before 2012 I would have thought but maybe you meant for the other section?

There is only one of me, we are an endangered species after all!! J" is right, my login got b'd up somehow and so I had to join again. Admin kept sending me idiotic passwords that didn't work it was soooo annoying so I just thought s'd it and rejoined.

It's really weird how heat affects people differently, I hate any heating in the bedroom but my sister, who lives in Spain has an electric blanket for 6 months of the year, very odd! I would always opt to be too cold rather than too hot, she would opt for completely the opposite.

I've always felt underdressed in French company and I do get looks when I do the school run in just a V necked fleece when everyone else is fully 'togged' up. I'm now into tee shirts when I can be as I'm a hot mortal and hate being too hot, this concept is alien to my neighbours who always said, aren't you cold?

In my part of the Vienne the dustbin charge is separate to the tax fonciere and goes to the tenant not the owner.
