  1. There is little chance of avoiding their actions and sounds when right under one's nose so to speak, even with the window shut and Astrid and Joao Gilbereto belting out late night music.

For the one action I need a loving partner as one night stands are less than satisfactory don't you find,  and for the other which was a 10km or 16km walk plus boozy refreshment points, both a regenerated liver and much less arthritic pain.

However I did join them for a few minutes around 1am when only the serious drinkers remained.

  2. Well, I have dealt with that kind for a hundred years it seems. Do you smile, wag your tails, speak French, defer to them, complement the ladies on their moustaches, sympathize with them about overwork, that bùùùùùù Sarkozy etc? Works a treat. Worship at their feet?
  3. You are so coarse and unfeeling. Must be a Brit!

That is about the most unromantic statement I've heard in a hundred years. Why not something like "Oh bella machina amore mia please, prey be so kind so condescending,  as to deliver to I this little worm of no consequence who falls  on his knees before your beauty, some of your delectable  and unique produce in return for my insertion into your body of the correct means to make you explode."

Just look at the difference. She wants to put out for you now, doesn't she. I mean the MACHINE, hoverers.

  4. Not with those thighs I havent and they are much much more pissed than I and couldnt find the way. They all have torches but their batteries will be nearly down by now. Better listen to their singing from the first floor terrace as I type.
  5. That word, machine sounds so Italian, so romantic. A word of passion whispered by generations of women: mia machine d'amore for example. Isnt there even a song dedicated to Cat called I wanna be your loving machine? J' aimerais devenir ton machin d'amour. Ta machine d'amour. Clair, if you are hovering, help with a good translation please; How would you say that svp?

Still betterer in Italian I bet.[:D]

  6. Ah the relaxation of autumn. The whole commune and those around is walking the bounds of my commune, a marche nocturne. Every kilometre or so there is a staging post where they play a game, hear a story or listen to a bit of music. And have a nip, or two. Now they are shouting and singing. I DARE NOT TRANSLATE because it is very very very rude and our mods are such shy people and it is neerly sundey. But it is French culture isn't it. No, I wont , won't.

In fact I think they may be at IT in my woods. Those are definitely not the sounds of quiet conversation. Just a moment, I'll get a camera and a bucket of water.

  7. Ah the buzz of the machine as it ploughs its furrow, drawing two pieces closer and closer, they vibrating, touching, tense, smoothing their innocence as they draw into intimate contact. The sweet embrace. Vary the tension, vary the intensity, draw the essence of the tissue, cling close, bound, now as one. And the pelasure of that needle, its rhythmix rise and fall.............

I am describing sewing here of course.[6]
