  1. Raindog, loved your photo, the setting was sooooooo peaceful.

PPS, loved your painting, very impressive, your choice of colours was absolutely delightful.

Pads, I make my own Christmas Cakes too, mine are recovering from a hangover as we speak !!!  (OK, write) [:)]  made them in September, always make one for my daughter too.  Yours looks lovely. I actually am not very fond of Christmas cake, but love making them, OH and son in law demand extra marzipan, so OK, I spoil them, almost 1 inch thick with marzipan every year, costs me a fortune, but they are worth it.  [:D]

  2. Thank you so much, it is a lovely Island to stay on, even when the wind is blowing horizontally in a Gale Force 8,   such fun trying to stand up, work can be interesting when that happens.  OH laughs when I suddenly take off (mind you, he is very quick to come and help),  but finds it so funny, problem is I am only little so find it hard to stay upright.   Nope, nothing to do with the wine!!  [;-)]

    Snowing outside now!

  3. Thanks for all your lovely comments, here is a photo of Lews Castle, taken whilst on a walk round the castle grounds in summer, I like to look at it now and again just to remind myself that the sun does shine sometimes, here in Stornoway  [:P]

I think I'm turning into a horse.  No, I'm not growing a tail and neighing.  It's the quantity and - (excuse me) - the size of the waste product that is becoming horse-like.

Was enjoying my breakfast, Patrick, too much information.  [+o(]  [+o(]   [:P]

  7. Geordie girl...... Now, how can you doing what you want and loving it be pathetic!!  Glad you are enjoying life, sounds good, I am around the same stage as you, I think, can send photos now, love going out and about with the camera, and the push bike, wish I could be in France full time too instead fo having to work, but needs must, that day will come though.  [:)]

Good on you, I realised over a year and a half ago that I never watched Sky, so I cancelled it,   best thing I ever did,  can honestly say, hand on heart that I do NOT miss it one bit, might be different if I stayed in France full time but honestly, life is better without it.

Go out more, walking, cycling, just mooching around with the camera, lovely, of course, this might just be a relief from the job but don't think so!!  [:)]    Best thing I ever did!!

    Oh Emma!

What a scary situation, poor moggy, poor you, it almost sounds as if he had had a massive blow to the head somehow, perhaps a car??

Hopefully, you are not far from Acegundog with that very lovely offer of a trip to the vet.

    Hugs to you both
