There is no discernible difference Phylis between the sexes of very young blackbirds, AFAIK it's only when they moult their brown mottled feathers that they take on the adult differences.

A fox is an omnivore.[;-)]

Why did you move the snake Jan? Apart from the minor detail of it being illegal to do so, did you actually consider its habitat requirements? I really don't understand it, a harmless grass snake and you a nature lover.

French people eat trash just like anyone else.

You had it in your grasp,
"Grass snakes have a sort of collar white or yellow next to the black band, that's how I recognise them."
but you forgot that the collar can be any colour or even absent in some cases, it is a Grass snake, very pretty.

In that case try Morimus asper.

It would seem to have just what it / they want where they are, what a privilege, not everyone has such fantastic little toads in their garden. If you have a stone wall they really like a small sand heap against it.
Peep peep.

Sure, loads of ideas.
What you currently have would appear to be Bumblebees. What you are seeing are the males or workers which are half the size of a female queen which I assume you are thinking of when you say "Bumblebee".
I would suggest you leave them alone, they don't do any harm and will disappear at the end of the season.

He also muttered something about a new type of wasp or a new wasp characteristic as in aggressive behaviour,
I don't think so, the only introduced species is the Asian Hornet and they are relatively timid, otherwise no changes in behaviour have been noted.
Good luck.

Extremely variable in colour and tone, some are even black and white....ce sont les points noirs carrés qui permettent d'identifier l'espèce.
So John me old mate, fairly sure, nothing else with those markings that I know of that looks like a ladybird, unless it's one you made in the workshop.[;-)]

Without knowing what the birds in question are it's a bit difficult, but as a general rule in that situation putting the nest back would be a waste of time. Nothing prevents you trying it though, just don't be too expectant.
