  1. "I couldn't believe the premiums dogwood was quoting so I've done an online comparison myself, just to prove how wrong he was!"

Well glad it ain't just me!!!!!

I'm on holiday at the mo, but when I get back I'll have one more try.

If not then it's back to the UK to register it there

Insurance is only £72 fully comp.

I know I'll only get a couple of months use here.

But heyho at least I can afford to use it.

  2. Help, this is driving me nutttttts.

    I have just bought a 50cc Honda scooter 2010.

    It is French registered.

I'm trying to find insurance for it.

My broker is quoting over 300€.....

    Do me a favour!!

I am a 58 year old with over 40 years riding experience.

In the UK I can get insurance for £72.

I know it's going to be dearer in France.

But no one else will quote me unless I have car insurance with them first.

I've done a search but to no avail .....

Anyone got a sensible insurance on their scooter, they could point me to.

    Thanks David
  3. Hi

I'm posting this up from TotalFrance Forum, Trying to help this lady with her lost dog.

Whilst on the beach walking my dogs in St gilles croix de vie my Jack russe, Ethel vanished...we walked every day after I had finished the decorating on my house. the unusual aspect to this day is that the good weather had brought out literally hundreds of people and one minute she was right there and then literally vanished. I have done everything, vets, posters marie, police searching all night, speaking to people endlessly.

I am back in the uk at present and my heart is broken ...I do not know what else to do...she is 6 and half her chip number is958000001785204,

my mobile number was on her collar. she is so small and pretty and affectionate tht i fear the worst..

I cant get the picture to load on here..

    Check post on TF

  5. Hi Abi

If you have not already done so try this..

Remove card from machine. Remove power lead from back of machine.( dont just switch it off that wont work)

leave it for about 30 minuits then plug it back in. Wait for insert skycard message, then hopefully all will be OK  [geek]

If that does not work there is something else you can do, but I cannot remember it off hand, I will check my notes and let you know.

  6. Hi SD

What I saw on your link certainly wasn't small...[blink][:$] Very comfy in my opinion[:D]

As to your Suzy. I did think about it, and to be honest I feel it would be just too small for me (6ft...19st)[:-))]

I agree thats what I ought to be looking at but......... well u know[8-)]

  7. Hi Andy

I have only just seen your post..[:@]

I am quite happy with my answer to the original question [geek]

I said it takes about 6 months to get a passport. I meant the process of be able to return to the UK with a pet if you have no pets passport yet.
