  1. Hello Liz,  When I read your last post, I did turn a slight shade of green . I've been thinking about a Norge for sometime, however I can not find an agent for Guzzi in dept 17 who has a demo model .  May I ask if you purchased in France , and did you manage a test ride ?

  2. ---------no Bugbear , I did'nt know that , sadly I'm not as well travelled as your goodself , but if as you say "" La Chabanais " is a brothel , does it mean then that  " Le Chabanais "  is a Gay Bar ?       [kiss]  [kiss]         Still want to meet up ?

  3. I've been told by reliable sources that there is a "" Bourse de Moto " , similar to the one in Niort the other week , but on a smaller scale at Chabanais dept 16 junction N141 and the D29 on Sat 4th April .  Anyone interested in meeting up ?

                           Regards

  4. ---------- that's fine , 10am intermarché carpark , but ride round to the back towards the garden centre ,as they have changed the position of the petrol pumps OK.  All I know is that we are going to the seaside, would that be Royan, La Rochelle or Scunthorpe ?   [:-))]

  5. At the risk of being labelled one of the above, is there anyone within a 15 to 20 kilometre raduis of St Jean d'Angely who would like some company for the occasional informal rideout, nothing complicated or organized, just a sedate ride coffee and a chat, then back home before the wife realises we've gone missing .     [:(]
  6.   So Bugbear, now that you have had ample time to digest the comments of the previous posts, can I ask , are the rideouts still on or not ? Before you answer, nowhere did I see a reference to the organizer loosing two thirds of the group, How you manage to do this whilst riding a Triump I'll never understand     [:-))]         By the way,   I was also a Milk  Monitor , but with the added responsability of distrubuting not only milk but orange juice as well, from there I was promoted to a Vice Prefect----- follow that mate !     [geek]

  7. Yes Bugbear, have to agree, that was the view we had for the most of last year, however we're hoping for the 2009 rideouts that you let us in on the secret as to where we are going before we get there ! That way we won't have to play follow the leader all day, anyway have you noticed those rusty screw heads ?            [Www]
  8. To all those motorcyclists , riders , bikers , pikers , greasers , rockers, enthusiasts , collectors, or what ever you prefer to be called , and yes I do include BMW owners ( no prizes for guessing what their getting again for xmas ) . To all those that I met on the rideouts , to all those unlucky ones that Gary lost on those rideouts, and to all those that contributed to the Forum . I wish you  a Merry Xmas a Happy New Year , good health and a revival of the Sterling .

          Best Regards

  9. Yes I've got to agree with you SD, I reckon it was trailed for the 120 kms with him sitting astride, held upright with rachet straps , whilst his wife drove the car     [Www]   -----Bugsy ,  I've also got some new winter gloves . These are made from four layers of reindeer hide , then covered with seal skin and  finished with two layers of yak fur . Whale bone knuckle protectors and walrus whiskers on finger sides . Cuffs made from artic fox decorated with albatross feathers , brilliantly warm and superb for absorbing the drips off your nose .    [:-))]
  10. ----------- no sorry , it's tempting  but I'carn't go that far , my wife would go mad , anyway the dog is not insured . However she did say that she would stick one of her Xmas puddings in the topbox ( be aware that you'll have to blow up the rear tyre to it's max )    [Www]
