Hi all you expert D.I.Y ers.Need to install hot water in my house in France.
I am going to buy from Brico Depot a 200 L 3000W Chauffe-eau serie acapulco.
Has anybody fitted one of these,if so are they fairly easy to install,Would one on a stand give enough pressure to feed a shower ,Basin & Kitchen sink. And also do they come with the fittings.
I have read the plumbing pages on this wed site, Which were very helpful ,but I just wondered if anybody has any more useful information,
Which would be gratefully received.
Thanks Brian.

I spend half my time in France & the other half over here.
Would it be worth my while (cheaper) if I registered my car in France & drove It in England on French plates.
I know a lot of British Haulage companies are registering their lorries in Belgium because of our high road tax.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
Just reading through Brico Depot catalogue ,They have got plastic pipe on a roll of 25 m called Tube Polyethylene,It comes in 20mm,25mm & 32mm & its says 6 or16 bars.
They also are selling the plastic fittings to match , Called Raccords Polproylene.
Does anybody know if these materials are O.K. for mains pressure ? Only it seems to good to be true.
Thanks for your replies Bridan.
We have 3 RSJ(I) beams in our barn which we need to take out, are they of any use to anyone? They are 200mm x 200mm x approx 5.5m long. Any suggestions on easiest way to get them out? We are in Vien...
Hi
I dont mean to put a dammper on things , but I am very experienced in this type of work ( over 30 years),
I would be very very careful about moving beams of this size & weight , it would be dangerous to try to move something like this without proper knowhow , it cannot & shouldnot be attempted without the correct lifting equipment , for safeties sake do not let anybody tell you otherwise it is too dangerous .
If you need any more help you can e-mail me direct .

Hi John
We have just completed on our house , & our estate agent arranged the electric and water .
Our property is in Anceins near Gace (18km) away , are you local to us.
We were told that main sewerage is going to be installed by next year when the law changes , it might be an idea to ask about main sewers , it could save you a lot of money.
Good luck , get back to me if you need any help not that I know that much !!!
