  1. Hi everyone This is my first post, though I've been gleaning all kinds of useful information from you all for several months now!  I have a specific question now - I've tried a search but haven't found anything which seems to relate to my query. My husband and I have been living in France now for 3 months and are signed up with CPAM with our E106 forms.  They both have expiry dates of Jan 2007, although Newcastle have also sent me (but not my husband) another form with an extension from Jan 2007 to Jan 2008.  However, I have just been offered a full-time job - BUT it is only (at least initially) for 3 months.  I assume that I will thus make contributions to French social security whilst I am earning (and hasten to add that I am more than happy to do so!) but my question is what happens when/if the job ends after three months?  Will I have "invalidated" my E106 by contributing "normally" as it were or can I then go back to getting cover via the E106?  I am hoping that either the job will continue or that the experience will stand me in good stead and I will be able to find another job.  I think the work experience will be more important than messing up my health cover, but want to know what I'm letting myself in for if I then have to make voluntary contributions afterwards. Many thanks for your help Lou (in Hautes Pyrenees- 65)
