[A sad warning for dog owners]

We lost our beautiful cat 2 years ago aged 20 years old so know how you feel. Please enter on any search engine...we put it into google the words....... Rainbow Bridge.......although some parts of the site are a little odd the verse on the front page is beautiful....

We now have a new little puppy, as we retire to France soon and wanted a dog we could keep with us not a cat to go off. My husband is just tiling the kitchen floor as she has eaten all the laminate floor!! It reminded us once again of the joys of a pet as well as the iminent sadness.

Last summer we had a problem with bees up our kitchen chimney. When we arrived at our house last August there were about 100 dead on the kitchen floor. When we went back in October we lit the fire and that got rid for that period.

However when we went back this summer having only been away for 6 weeks there were so many dead behind the kitchen door we could literally not open the door to get in.

We have tried fires, ghastly sprays of all sorts, and descriptions, mostly smelling awful and they are still there. They buzz so loudly they overtake the conversation and constantly divebomb you whilst you are eating.
Before we have the pompier in does anyone have any other ideas.

To describe them they are very tiny bees only about half a cm long.....but oh so blasted noisy!

Apologies if this has previously cropped up. Could anyone advise us the average cost for the trip to the vets in the 24/48 hours prior to dogs on a pet passport returning to the UK. this is for worming etc.
