We are looking for storage for some of our furniture. Must be dry and secure. It will be needed for a minimum of three months and in about a fortnights time. We are living near Sauze Vaussais at present, so within easy driving distance of Sauze would be good. Any help much appreciated.

It will obviously be wise for us to have an agent close to our apartments. We are assuming yours are in Poitiers. At present we use an immobilier in the normal way to find new tenants for us. Do all agents offer  'Mandat de Gestion' or is it just letting agencies only.  Thanks

Hi We are very interested in the insurances taken out for protection as a landlord. We let flats here and have had some problems. Can you give us some idea of prices of insurances and recommend the agencies you use please? Thanks

We are looking for a long term let within half an hour of Ruffec. We are a couple in our fifties with a cat. Approximately a year or maybe longer. Would like three beds and a garden. Not too isolated. Can provide excellent references proof of income etc. Have been living in France for three years. Some storage also, would be good. From July if possible. Thanks  

No unfortunately we don't have an American Express card. If we were travelling from the UK I think it would be much easier and cheaper. Our main flight is from Gatwick. We are staying with friends for two nights before we travel. We would like the insurance, to cover our whole journey, from France, in case we have to cancel for any reason. Also in an emergency, repatriation would have to be to France not the UK. I had a look at one website that quoted £91+ for a single trip cover. That seems a little excessive to me for a single trip. Thank you for your suggestion.

We are travelling from our home in Deux Sevres to London and then on to visit our daughter, who lives in Dubai. We need travel insurance, for the whole journey. Can anyone recommend a company, who will insure us from France at a reasonable cost. We have been told we are covered to a certain amount on our car insurance here but would still like to take out a comprehensive travel insurance.

We have a sony digital TV. We have rently moved to Deux Sevres. Will we need a decoder, or just a satellite dish to received BBC and free to air channels. Any advice please.

We are a couple in our fifties, with a well behaved cat. We have been living in rented accomodation, in Longre, in the Villefagnan area, for six weeks, house hunting. As we have to vacate our present accomodation, at the end of June, we are looking for a long term let, around this area, or closeby, with two bedrooms, for approximately 3-4 months.
