I often change mine between two vehicles. Black d/s tape looks better from the outside. There isn't any need to re-register.

I have tried most routes and the one I find best but not shortest is all autoroute. Calais-Reims-Troyes- Dijon- Lyon -Montpellier-Carcassonne. Any DVD player will work in France provided it is Region 2 or Multi region. An English TV will work in France with DVD, Sky box, VCR etc provided the SCART sockets are used. An English TV will not receive French broadcasts. A French TV will support all the above boxes via SCART connection.
