I owe money on a unsecured load and a credit card back in England. I can not pay them off yet. Can I be made bankrupt and have my french house seized to pay them off?

Sorry if what I posted upset anyone. It was a joke. Being Welsh and gay I thought it was funny after moving from a city life to a village one. I was under the impression that the French where the humourless ones not the British!. Moved to Couret (31) 3k from Aspet 20 months ago With my partner Nigel. We also have houses in a village called Soueich (31) that we rent out.

This is my first year as a gite owner in the Aspet area 31. I converted one house into four, put a pool in. I have been turning people away, I am fully booked most of june all of july, august and half of september and christmas. I am delighted with the response so far. All I can say is Location, Location, Location. If you need help let us know.

After a year hunting out a builder and electrician I have found what can only be called THE BEST! But sadly their time with me is over and they need to move on. Anyone need any help in the St Gaudens area 31?

Thank you everyone. The Marie changed his mind and I have permission for the pool. I don't think the garden grew!!!

The Marie in my village told me that I can not legally put a pool in as my garden is to small. He said I need three meters around the pool. I have nowhere near that. But he did say that I could put it in anyway.... Should I go ahead and risk it. Also if I went ahead with it I have a high fence all the way round my garden, would I still have to put more fence up or would a alarm be ok?
