  1. Thanks sunday driver that seems to answer the question, it seems to be the same as the UK. Wen     Im not sure I agree with you, I dont see why it would be any less safe in the front of a van than the rear of a car providing they are securly in. I just dont want to fall faul of the law.  Where I live in France (46) I havnt seen any loose children or dogs in the cars, they seem to be quite a responsible lot here. [;-)]
  2. Hi everyone Does anybody know the legalities of carrying 2 children (1 and 5) in the front of a 3 seater van. Is it the same as the UK  ie ok if they are properly secured with appropriate child seats Thanks Neil
  3. "To answer your question and the original posters question many people try not to register because of the first two years cotistations which are fixed (First year.: 2538€ Second Year.: 3746€) after which you will then pay a percentage"   As far as I am aware from personal experience, the system assumes a level of income for years 1 and 2 on the Micro and allocates a cotisation accordingly but if you earn or are expecting to earn less then you just phone them up and they recalculate. this is what I have done and certainly in my first year trading the cotisations were manageable.
  4. Hi Are there any younger people  (under 40) in the Lot who are finding life a little quiet and maybe fancy meeting up for a beer and chat. We have a 2 and a half year old but dont let that put you off. Neil and Mim
  5. Hi I have a balcony/roof terrace that I have bought some nice outdoor ceramic tiles for but am unsure of what to stick them down with. The balcony has a room below and is made from concrete. It appears to have a black rubber waterproofer painted on. I have seen sacs of outdoor tile adhesive and wondered if these would be ok or if I need something special to stick to the waterproofer. Any help would be appreciated James
