Anyone know any bars in/around Cognac that show UK football through Canal+?

I'm staggered that someone would say that nothing happens in Cognac outside the Summer.
I've lived here since 2003 and can personally vouch for the championship golf course, tennis courts (indoor & outdoor), swimming pool, theatre, cinema, ice rink etc that Cognac boasts let alone the bars, restaurants etc.
The clubs for the younger ones stay open until 2.00am throughout the year.
Chuck in the coastal areas (50 mins), Bordeaux (1 hr) and TGV to Paris and I ask what more help in staving off boredom do you want!

Have sent a private mail but would be delighted to quote. We're registered with the Cognac Chamber of Commerce and would be happy to provide references.
Kind regards.

Hi there - we live in Mainxe (10 mins from Cognac) with two daughters (5 & 3) who go to the local school.
It's a terrific area with friendly people and loads to do, even out of season.
I own a property management & search company (see www.cognacproperty.com for details) and if I can help in any way I'd be delighted.
Best of luck, hope you're really happy here.

We live in the Charente and have been warned that there is a problem with snakes during the Summer.
Does anyone know if this is true - if so any handy tips for keeping them away from the garden, whether they're poisonous etc.
Thanks.

Thanks - I'd heard that Canal + were showing the mighty THFC against that other team from North London. Not quite the same atmosphere you're right!
All the best.
