  1. We installed a radio fence for our lab cross, 6 years ago. We were strict with the training and it works wonders!

She knows her limits and has a huge area to roam freely in. Even is she doesn't have the collar on, she doesn't go out of the limits and it gives us peice of mind that, unlike our last dog, she won't be run over at the edge of our property by some idiot on a mobile phone!

To add insult to injury, we were held liable for the damage to his car.
  2. JoJo, now 8 weeks old was found in an emaciated state 2 weeks ago. She had been dumped in a garden but the people, after 4 days were about to dump her elsewhere, not having fed her or even touched her in that time. Luckily a neighbour heard about her and bought her straight to us.

You can see her before and after photos on our website but they can’t show you her character! She is cheeky, mischievous, cuddly and so, so lovable! Along with many others, she is waiting for her forever home at the Rescue Centre in Miramont de Quercy. Take a look at our website for more details.

  3. Lillie's last kitten has just this minute left for his new home.

    That leaves just Lillie!

Mum to 6 kittens, all rehomed, Lillie is the most gorgeous, placid, playful, cuddly cat.

As she had her kittens to look after, she has seen other cats and kittens come and go over the last 2 months and she has never once shown any agression.

She is a wonderfully elegant tabby cat with a bit of an oriental look, and she'll make a lovely addition to any family.

Her photos, chip number etc can be seen on our website along with all the other cats and kittens!

    Thanks in advance

  4. You may have heard the story of Foxy? She was abandoned unneutered near a school. Foxy had 3 babies who she was very protective of, not unusual as the children at this primary school took turns in throwing rocks atthis little family to see who could do the maximum damage!

The kittens were about 3 weeks old when a neighbour to the school found out about Foxy and brought her to our charity, Chats du Quercy.

Foxy's babies were delightful and as soon as they were able to leave us, found homes.

Foxy is left a little perturbed but a most loving, playful cat. Even after her experiences, she prefers human company to that of other animals - animals are so amazing aren't they? We could learn an awful lot from them! She has the most fantastic irrestible eyes!

Foxy is now neutered after being tested negative FIV/FeLV and is fully vaccinated and microchipped.

If I had no other cats (I have 8!) I would love to have Foxy, she is such a great character and maybe would make a great Guard cat!

We're in the Tarn et Garonne if you'd like to visit Foxy or any of the other cats we have for rehoming

  9. Marina is so gorgeous, not only in looks but in nature.

She has had a very traumatic couple of weeks.

Taken to the pound, not reclaimed so destined to be put to sleep. Chats du Quercy heard of her plight so 'rescued' her. We were told that Marina had a slight hernia, nothing to worry about, can be 'fixed' when she is neutered.

Luckily we have the services of an excellent vet because Marina's hernia was horrible, she was also pregnant, so the whole operation is taking Marina a while to recover from.

Tested negative FIV/FeLV, Marina is now neutered, vaccinated and microchipped(250268710020061).

She is a tiny scrap of a cat, about one year old and craves human contact, she will rest in your arms, thankful to now have a secure future, but she needs a permanent loving home - can you help?
