Chancer Posted December 12, 2016 Share Posted December 12, 2016 If you and your OH eat all the pies (brought over from Tesco in a white van) and the stairs become a problem then you can always install a round glass lift in the tower of your château [:D] It reminded me of the scene in "Jaws" "We are going to need a bigger lift"! Chancer Posted December 12, 2016 Share Posted December 12, 2016 Before leaving the UK I explained to everyone exactly what I had bought and where, I did not pull any punches because even with my most heavily rose tinted glasses I was under no illusion that it was anything but a dump. Nonetheless the few friends that visited me were visibly shocked and lost for words, they thought that I had bought a water mill and would spend the rest of my life drinking wine on the terrace watching the sun go down.
