whats the most important thing?

If your house was unfire, after family animals ect , what is the one thing you would rescue from your home . your favourite possession?

Mine a small carved wooden fish my hubby made for me when we had no money, for my birthday , he wrote the date and how much he loved me on the back, it goes everywhere with me.

I must scan my old ones onto computer to save on a disc.

I have thousands on the computer and we are thinking of getting a fireproof safe for the backup CD. A while ago we left a back up with my parents, but have loads more since then, plus the ones on that old fashioned paper stuff!

The vintage Fender Jazz Bass my father left me when he died.  He had it when he first started playing with The Bystanders in he early 60's.

After much thought, I would take photos too.  In fact, this has inspired me to scan them and not only put them on a cd but also in my on-line vault.  BT offer me 20Gb storage for free!!!
