suein56
The sheep had a field day (oops) ; the comment I love is :-Fanny’s Farm shop manager Nellie Budd told the Surrey Mirror : ''My sheep weren't quite on their backs with legs in the air but they probably had the munchies".”They haven't had any other side effects but I'll tell you about the meat next week.“ Independent article Sue [:)]Thanks for the modification; I was obviously in too much of a hurry to get the link right. Cendrillon
Love the articleSue and couldn't resist sharing it on Facebook.[I]Next time I am out for a walk in the Surrey countryside I shall keep my eyes open for any interesting, dumped bags. Cendrillon
Definitely, my eyes will be peeled for sheep and bags on next walk outing.[;-)][I]Just a thought, are happy sheep anything to do with those "happy hens" who supposedly lay free-range "happy" eggs? Théière
Apparently this is the first time sheep have enjoyed a joint at the weekend [Www]
halfblind
Two thoughts spring to mind. As stated in some of the comments after the article the bags probably contain the residue of stalks etc from a harvested crop of the "useful" parts of the plants, therefore the usual overstated value placed on the product by plod. If this is the case then has plod also overstated the value of the illicit drug trade, and possibly the prostitution rings as well, that would have been included in the recent revaluation of the UK economy by Brussels and has resulted in the demand for £1.7bn.The thick plottens !
