US Attitude to Space

I had to read this article a couple of times as I did not believe it first time. How can this country keep behaving like such a school bully - throwing it's weight around but for how much longer will it have "weight to throw around"

Seriously, I would be shocked, but they have taken away my capacity to be shocked by anything they say or do.

Why are people surprised though?. This is nothing new.

In fact this part

"The United States will preserve its rights, capabilities, and freedom of action in space... and deny, if necessary, adversaries the use of space capabilities hostile to US national interests,"

is hardly any different to the policy outlined under the Democrats 10 years ago.

It is laughable but not surprising as they do the same with the www.

You can be tried under US law for mail fraud for illegal activities anywhere in the world on the www.

All UK emails are directly intercepted by US I am not sure exactly how they do it with France as the French are not as deep in the US pocket as the UK.
