Jonzjob
Has anyone seen this one. It's an airial shot of camels. The white bits are the camels, the black is their shadow.. Jonzjob
"I had them professionally printed and i did an exibition at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, i even sold a few!"I'm not surprised. What an incredible subject and place... I think that we would have liked it better there than any town, anywhere!I love to use photos like that for CD covers. They would have to be for a Santana album...

Chauffour
if you ever go, you need a good tripod... all the photos have at least 30 seconds exposure.....the parks, (and las vegas, for no more that 3 nights) are the best reason to visit usa... Tay
Incredible photos, Chauffour. Why not submit them to National Geographic? http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/yourshot/submit.html "Submita favorite photo of your own on any topic of your choosing for possiblepublication in an upcoming issue of National Geographic. Selectionswill appear in both the print and online magazines." p.s. sorry, can't get the formatting tags to work; same goes for trying to delete a double post... Jonzjob
A different type of photo. This was taken with my trusty Nikon 301F 35mm film camera at Kemble Air Day a few years back. It's not been doctored and I still have the original negative... Talk about precision flying!?I could try it 1000s of times again and not be so lucky! Baz
Tay,I assume when you refer to formatting tags, you mean creating a link. When composing a post above box the there is line titled message, the second to last symbol looking like a globe and chain link, just click and paste in or type the link http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/yourshot/submit.htmlYou can only delete your post provided there have been no further postings on that topic and I believe within a certain time limit, then the delete box is visible on your posting.John another fantastic picture.Baz
Jonzjob
The delete button is still visible on the camel photo above. I think it is just a time out function. Thanks Baz. I do love photography and one day I will learn to spell it right first time!Edit. I tried to re-smell tome to time? I hate dyslyksick keyboardz!P.S. It must be the keyboard 'cause I never make mastikes...

Did you manage to claim for any of it? I had a 28 mil lens whith my Nikon, but I part exed it for a 30/115 lens with a macro setting. That was a lovely lenz. The 28 mil just didn't get used enough, good as it was.I used to do my own black and white developing and I did a stupid thing when I swopped my Durst enlarger for a tape deck. I always found it amazing watching the image appear in the developing tray. In some ways it's a shame that digital photos are so easy in comparison. I only wish I could afford a digital SLR. I suppose I could have if we hadn't got a pool?I have come to the conclusion that the Cuzo police ar fussy about just who goes to church?

However, this is what I have been trying to do - I have managed it before. When I attempted it this morning, I clicked the relevant button, pasted in the url, but it failed to appear when I previewed. I'll stop being lazy and just type the tags into the message in future, rather than rely on the buttons.

Christine Animal
I am more and more amazed by the talent on this forum. The photos on this thread are wonderful. I couldn't possibly compete with the technical skills of you others, but here's just a funny one, an original "defleaing device" in Morocco at a restaurant owned by a French woman, they were the best of pals. Jonzjob
Christine, that looks like the bird is whispering swwet nothings to the dog and you go and spoil it?[:(] I love the wild life side of photography. Christine Animal
Now John, you've edited the size down on those on Photobucket haven't you. I did that, but when I copy the IMG thing they come out the original enormous size on here. So I had to copy and paste. What do you do exactly to get them on here?
Jonzjob
Hi Christine, I edit them before I go to Photobucket. I use Photo Shop Pro X (10). It's a good photo programme and very easy to use. Depending on the size needed you re-size them to a pixel dimention, but you don't loose the detail, well not toooo much. Then they are put into PBucket and that's what you see. If you would like any more info then just ask. It won't take long to exaust what I know!!? 'onest...
