Cheating, as you well know.

In the early days oc computers we used to still give lines and I actually got 100 lines handed in on that silvery roll paper that was used in Sinclair ZX81 printers. The kid had written his own program to do it:

10 FOR n=1 TO 100

20  PRINT "I must do my homework"

30 LET n=n+1

40 GOTO 10

See how much I remember?

By the way, Russethouse

still has more posts than either Miki or Dick - but only just .....
4744, but she is away at the moment, and Miki is off to Quimper today for a seance with the faience, so it's looking fair!
Tomorrow Dick,

I have time for around a 100 posts today if the weather holds. Trust

me, you do need a life,Cassis, Jude is just being kind [:)] Leclercs

are doing double bubble get a life points on Monday, fill yer boots !

Tina has me muddled up today, I told her about you needing a life and she said I had the life of Reilly  [:D]

Sod the faience, I'll leave that to Gay, a plate is a plate to me, it's

what culinary delights are on it that counts............ [;-)]

I will be way behind by the Spring and even the sausage will have close

to 5000 points by then. If only it were judged purely on *merit, I would

be so far out in front, as to be a no contest [;-)]

(* Merits were also on promo last week)

Well if you've got Reilly's life, where does that leave him, the poor beggar?  Give him it back.

Re Dick's consecutive posts - well, 11.26 and 11.37 aren't that far apart. [:P] [:D]

Right, what else can I post about.  I've a lot of catching up to do .....

I doubt it - though I have finished cleaning and all I'm going to do today is some updates on the website, so I will be keeping an eye on you as I work .....

CORRECTION - Jude says we're going for a walk as it's such a lovely day.  See y'all later.

I'm back now ............and the reason for the high post number is that I have been a member here for nearly 7 years and only lost my post total once, unlike some people who seem to start at zero each time the software has been changed.

I hope Miki at least looks at the faïence, its not just plates or even the little men and women  (Bretons and Bretonnes) the faïencerie is so well known for, there are very interesting contemporary artists too.
I saw some lovely stuff by local artists at Pont

Aven.  The caramels and biscuits are nice too!
I can't be sure Twinks but something tells me that for all the

paintings that have come out of Pont Aven there is little or nothing

from the great, or rather better known painters on permanent display in

town? Would that be right ? I will know in a day or two

but...............

Have no fear Gay, I am with Tina and her friend, they will be looking

for sure. I first come across Quimper Faience around 1974 when we

stayed in Benodet, we even bought a modern plate as a  souvenir

from one of the shops. I rather like it, I also like the faience from

Provence, especially in Moustiers Ste Marie, which was only around 30

minutes or so, from where we had our place once.

I reckon when you lost your posts,  the lost amount  went on to Dick and the Sausage's post totals.[;-)]
Mmmm, the mention of Sainsburys has brought a wistful tear to the eye. I had thought that there was only one thing I missed about Englandshire, the beer, I now remember those lovely thick cream and jam scones that you used to be able to buy in twos, or was that Tesco?
Could have been either, Chris.  Both sell twin packs of cream scones for £1.59.

Remember we were all collecting cepes a while back?  They are flogging them in Leclerc for 18.80€ a kilo last week!!
I'm off shopping now (at the shiny new

Sainsburys in North Cheam) so I expect you'll be another 50 up by the

time I get back.

Admin,

I want this post scrubbed from the record. It has nothing to do with

France, it is totally off subject and is just a ploy in his quest to

gather another post.

How low will some members stoop I say.

"Two foot six" I hear at the back.....................any advances on that ?

Does Malicorne faience do anything for you Miki?  I rather like that as well.  Not dissimilar to Quimper, some of it.
