Dick Smith
Cheating, as you well know.In the early days oc computers we used to still give lines and I actually got 100 lines handed in on that silvery roll paper that was used in Sinclair ZX81 printers. The kid had written his own program to do it:10 FOR n=1 TO 10020 PRINT "I must do my homework"30 LET n=n+140 GOTO 10See how much I remember? Dick Smith
If you can't beat 'em...Two posts on different subjects and some time apart don't count as consecutive, surely. Russethouse
I'm back now ............and the reason for the high post number is that I have been a member here for nearly 7 years and only lost my post total once, unlike some people who seem to start at zero each time the software has been changed.I hope Miki at least looks at the faïence, its not just plates or even the little men and women (Bretons and Bretonnes) the faïencerie is so well known for, there are very interesting contemporary artists too. Chris Head
Mmmm, the mention of Sainsburys has brought a wistful tear to the eye. I had thought that there was only one thing I missed about Englandshire, the beer, I now remember those lovely thick cream and jam scones that you used to be able to buy in twos, or was that Tesco? Miki
Have no fear Gay, I am with Tina and her friend, they will be lookingfor sure. I first come across Quimper Faience around 1974 when westayed in Benodet, we even bought a modern plate as a souvenirfrom one of the shops. I rather like it, I also like the faience fromProvence, especially in Moustiers Ste Marie, which was only around 30minutes or so, from where we had our place once.I reckon when you lost your posts, the lost amount went on to Dick and the Sausage's post totals.[;-)]

Dick Smith
We were absolutely not discussing any other website forums that may or may not consider areas not unadjacent to Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Spain (not forgetting Andorra and Monaco) as their legitimate purlieus.
