powerdesal
I am sitting here in my lonely apartment, and there isn't a single thread on the forum that tempts me to reply (except the food/Dog one which I am resisting). How sad !!!!![:(]

Dog
Cheer up old chap - at least the weather must be better than here - it rained today and the temperature dropped to 5c.Come on over and give me a good verbal battering - I have a pint of Goudale awaiting you. Christine Animal
Sorry, misunderstanding. I thought you meant the Where your Food Comes from thread with Dog as vedette. Hadn't yet seen the dog food on mat one. Keep the cuddle though. [:D]See, I said he'd be over here in a flash. Go on, give him a batter.
powerdesal
No misunderstanding Christine, I meant the 'Where does your food come from thread' not the dog on the rug thread. We will see. [:P]

Lots of cirrus clouds....very pretty.
Renaud
Steve - I take it that you stay in Dubai and drive down the road into (dry) Fujeirah just to work?
Dog
Yes Goudale is great - my favourite French beer.http://www.brasseurs-gayant.com/anglais/htm/bieres/goudale.htmThe tins don't taste as good as the bottled as you'd expect. The 75cl bottles are just right - nicely cooled. At 7.2% just pokey enough without knocking you out.One of my younger brothers is an over 40s squash champion and he recently played the Worlds No3. He gave him a bottle and we are wondering if his ranking will go up or down!
powerdesal
Renaud,Fujeirah is NOT dry. (a number of bars, some good, some a bit 'iffy')I live in Quidfa which is just outside Fujeirah ( 5 mins from work).Dubai is approx 1hr 45 mins away, on a good day
