He had been given my number by a friend of a friend, who had told him I knew of a house for sale in the hamlet...He and his wife are coming over with the agent at 3, can I help them with a running translation?They've come to see my neighbour's house. Her six children have been locked in "indivision" for the last nine months. They are all equal owners of the house, land and farm and, as was to be expected, one of them has now decided to get his own back on the others by being awkward, so some keys are missing and we cannot go into the cellar to check on the boiler...However, as he has signed the estate agent's mandate, he'll have no choice provided the prospective buyers offer the full asking price.
