He certainly looks like he can still handle his-self and why should he not, teenagers and young men often think that anybody with signs of grey hair is past it and knows nothing too boot.

I remember vividly that I laughed out loud when I once stood up to a foul mouthed teenage thug, amongst his more comprehensible utterings was "you will probably have a heart attack you grey haired old ****" I was a very fit 45 at the time [:D]

Afterwards I reflected that at his age I probably thought the same way although would never have expressed myself in that manner, the older I get the more I realise how little did I know and how much more I still have to learn from those with more wisdom than me whereas when I left school I truly believed that I knew it all [:D]

I too am glad that Pensioner wasnt the victim of the law, even if he may have got in a few extra gratuitous ones whilst the burglar was "going down like a sack of spuds".
