what do you add to: strawberries, cream and meringue to make a good 'eton mess'

Looked at loads of recipies for this desert I was wondering if you had any favourites?

some  Say sherry, or kirch,or pomegranite juice

What do  you prefer?

I make mine any time of the year with frozen raspberries, natural yoghourt and meringue.  Make it about an hour before serving, as the berries defrost they cool the "Eton Mess"

Note:this is the slimmers version and every bit as good IMHO[;-)]

LOL I once chose a dessert in a restaurant that was listed as "frozen red berries and .....something else, can't remember what, when it arrived the berries were all still very frozen and not at all what I expected.
