cooperlola
My hero. Very, very sad. If there had been a just god he'd surely have left this mind around forever to have a good, reasoned debate with.[:(]
Rabbie
A man I much admire even though I disagreed with his stance on the Iraq war. Still it would be a boring old world if we never disagreed.
cooperlola
I have been looking at the tributes on facebook. Much of it is kind and admiring, even from those on the opposite side of the fence. However, it's amazing the vitriole coming from some people (and I don't mean disagreeement, Rabbie, but truly hateful stuff)and in some cases even obvious pleasure in a death. What a charitable attitude towards their fellow human beings some people do have. They clearly need help of some sort.

just john
I always thought he was very lucid and a delight to listen to, I found myself agreeing with much of what he had to say whilst not for a moment contemplating disagreeing with him.
