woolybanana
Can oil based paint be used on top of water based paint on plasterboard, svp? If so, any precautions, risks? Merci buckets!
Loiseau
As long as the surface you are painting is thoroughly dry, I am sure there's no problem. Angela
idun
I have done it very successfully. I used a Dulux Valentine oil based matt and put some colour in it. Bought from Mr Bricolage, not cheap, but good cover. No problems what so ever. Please do not use 'gloss' paint, not recommended even for a kitchen or bathroom, not a nice look. I had thought that they were phasing oil based paint out.
