mint
Thanks, Paul, forewarned is forearmed. But for yet another health problem, I might have been on a Swiss train today.
suein56
Whilst the Swiss, as a nation, are acknowledged to be very comfortably off, a fine of 150€ for, in effect, not managing to buy a train ticket at a broken machine seems a tad excessive. When the first court case of Joe Public v Swiss Rail comes to light the verdict should be interesting. Sue
nomoss
Could be worse - they quite probably have the right to throw you off the moving train [:D]
idun
Cornavin to Cointrin, so one stop and as a friend and I had to jump on the train as it was just about to leave, we ended up sitting in the first seats we came across. First class as it happened and we were very rudely moved on. ONE STOP, I ask you, by the time we had found another seat we were at the airport. I suppose now we'd have been fined, heavily fined[:$]
