As I write it is just Xmas Day in the UK but nearly an hour in in France.The BUT.The local hotel here in the UK went into administration in January. Mid year it was bought and they have done a few foolish things but seemed to be getting thing right.Spent Xmas Eve with some friends in the bar and whilst paying the drinks bill as we went went needed to pay for the food. Would you like a nightcap the owner asked. Yes please and then discovered it had been added to the bill. Shall be going elsewhere for a drink at lunchtime!
