As a result, the Brits are no longer sharing information with them.This leak was unusual and I wondered if it was a Republican revenge act for the Brits having told the Yanks about Trump's links to the Russians?Or was it just carelessness or stupidity?Whichever, it is dangerous!Any thoughts? idun Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 I watch CNN and Fox news and noted with dismay how they announced the name before the british news channels did. On Anderson Cooper last night, someone, some sort of american 'expert' was saying that it should not have happened and that sharing of information which is vital would be stopped or reduced. It should not have happened, but IF information is not shared, then we or the americans could be in a worse situation.I do hope that because this was even on american news, it will have had some effect, although all of american authorities seem to be leaking any information like a sieve at the moment.
