I think it's probably the longest thread discussing politics and social values in France that I have ever seen on this forum. I wonder why that is?[Www]I agree with Clair here - one of the few good things to come out of this has been the sudden upsurge in interest in the way in which the tacit acceptance of a man's (not this particular one) "pecadillos" - if I may call them that - continues to undermine the position of women in French society in general. Speculative guesses are pointless until after the Arraignment on Indictment. The Pre-Trial Hearings may clarify some aspects of the admissibility but disclosure of the prosecution evidence to the defense will be limited and later rather than sooner.
