dave21478 Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Must have been very rough seas to cause the lorry to slide far and fast enough to force the door. But then, on any ferry I have been on where rough seas are expected, they have lashed the lorries down.Brake failure can probably be ruled out - lorry brakes lock on as a failsafe measure and wont release.
