BIG MAC Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Do any of our number live in Cherbourg or know someone who does, near to the ferry port? I live in Portsmouth and regularly use Eurotunnel because it is cheap and reliable even if it does mean a lot of driving. I was thinking however if I stored one of my motorbikes in Cherbourg for the summer months I could fast cat across from Portsmouth as a foot passenger get on the bike and be in Mayenne in Jig time. This would allow me to make much more progress than I currently do with my little project. I would be prepared to pay for safe storage whether this be in cases of Heinz beans or Team Bags whatever falls within the rules!I woul dnot anticipate being a nuisance and would likely want the bike for a long weekend at the end of each month.
