Chancer
I was listening not watching and with only one ear to FR3 Picardie regional news and I heard them saying that Ryanair will be pulling out of Beauvais airport citing lack of regional support, i.e. funding.Perhaps I misheard and it is just an opening shot in their habitual renegotiations with the airport.Has anyone heard anything? There is a brand new and as yet unused international airport less than 1000m from me, I wonder if it is being used as a bargainig chip?
Cat
I'd say that they are pulling out of the Beauvais/Alghero (Sardinia) route, rather than out of Beauvais altogether...http://www.lefigaro.fr/flash-actu/2010/02/23/01011-20100223FILWWW00451-italie-ryanair-arrete-sept-liaisons.php
Chancer
That'll be it Cat!I heard the other destinations mentioned but wrongly thought that they were from Beauvais rather than Sardinia. You can delete the thread if you wish in case it spreads alarm.
