Ryan Air Question

I think that possibly the OP was asking whether it's similar to a ferry crossing, where the fare for each leg is reduced if you book a return trip, and if you don't use the return ticket then they reserve the right to charge the price of the full fare to your credit card.

As pointed out, Ryanair only sell single journeys even though it can look like a return booking, and they're all at low prices. If you don't turn up then all you lose is the cost of the ticket you've already paid for. No refunds, no penalties. I've no idea how they deal with the numbers; for example some of the no-shows may already have checked-in online and just not made it to the aiport.
