Christine Animal
We have one of those bird tables on three legs, very much like this one Bird TableBut whenever it's very windy it gets blown over. I suppose the obvious solution is to fix it to a heavy slab of some sort, but wondered if any of you brico birdy feeders had any hand tips. Talking about feeding the birds, what a lovely photo this is :http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/photo1360.htm
Deimos
One thought - a ground anchor directly under the post and then tie it to the anchor. When I say a "ground anchor" the sort of thing I'm thinking about are those giant corksscrew like things. An example is the things you get to allow your dog to run around a little in the garden whilst reaming attached to the "ground anchor" thing you screw into the middle of your lawn. They are generally a bit more than 30 cm. long. There are other types but something like that in the middle of the triangle (directly under the post with the post tied tightly to it) might stop it being blown overNot tried it so its only a thought.Ian
cooperlola
I have the same problem. Mr C is talking about putting them on large paving slabs and bolting them on.
